ABOUT DR. BOWLER / CLINICAL EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION

Dr. Bowler, a native New Yorker, grew up on Long Island and later
studied clinical psychology at the University of Scranton
where he graduated with Cum Laude Honors.  Accepted into the
leading doctoral program at Wright State University, his motivation
and expertise enabled him to graduate with a perfect 4.0 grade point
average at the young age of twenty-five.  Dr. Bowler surpassed
hundreds of applicants when he attained the highly coveted
predoctoral internship at the University of Southern California (USC),
and later completed his post-doctoral residency at the Claremont
Colleges.

Now, ten years after having attained his doctorate in 1998,
Dr. Bowler enjoys his private practice where his extensive history of having practiced
within university, private, inpatient, hospital, non-profit and community-based settings
across the country is put to good use.  While an adjunct professor at Pasadena City
College in Pasadena, California, Dr. Bowler acted as the Addictive Behavior and
Substance Abuse Specialist at AIDS Project Los Angeles.  At the same time, he served
as the resident psychologist at two well-known substance abuse treatment programs on
the West Coast.

Dr. Bowler has presented at various conferences on issues related to the practice of
psychotherapy and the importance of meeting the diverse needs of therapy clients.  He
has written articles that have been published in two languages and has led seminars on
a variety of practical, everyday topics aimed at helping people better their lives.

At the present time, Dr. Bowler contributes a monthly column for the WestView paper
which serves downtown New York City and has acted as a featured psychologist to Fox
News.  He is the process of developing media pieces aimed at bringing psychology to the
masses and is developing a series of books.  He practices privately at his office located
at 138 W. 25th Street in New York City and offers individual, family, and group
consultations.
