Sometimes people who know about psychotherapy ask about my theoretical orientation. I practice from a strategic, rapid intervention approach (solution-oriented) which uses cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy as the theoretical backdrops to my clinical conceptualization.
My theoretical orientation to psychotherapy is something I've been trained well within and has proven effective in helping people change their faulty thinking/feeling/behavioral patterns. I has also shown excellent in effecting positive therapeutic and clinical results. I used this theoretical perspective as a template for my doctoral disseration related to homicide loss, entitled, "The Sequelae and Interventions Surrounding Homicide Loss. The Sequelae as Patterns and the Interventions as Shifts".
